Just got an email from a person who said he wanted to sign up with me in something but he needed me to call him right away to discuss how I was gonna train him and what bonuses I was gonna give him or he was gonna call another leader who he had found… kinda like an ultimatum that I had to jump of I would lose him.
Know what I said?
Go call the other guy!!!

Ha Ha I have had a few like that always happy to see them go……

Good answer. Sounds completely self-absorbed and arrogant.
Andrea Finley says
Good decision. He sounded too pushy and not a team player. I can’t stand people who don’t know how to play nice in the sandbox!

LOL “Take a Hike” would also be appropriate! 🙂

Yes!

Right on Diane. What a turn-off! I would not want to work with that person if they paid me.

Diane that is awesome, I need to learn how to do that more. It doesn’t work when trying to bring the wrong people into your business they suck the life out of you, then blame you for not being successful. Take some reasonability and own your actions, it’s not up to the leaders to make you successful it’s up to you. The leaders are there for guidance and helping you tweak where needed not to do the work for you. I’m not at the level I want to be yet but it’s all on me nobody else. DecIntensive in one more stepping stone to guide me to where I want to be. Thank you Diane for all you do!
Diane says
December Intensive is gonna ROCK!

Awesome response and probably much nicer than what I would’ve said 🙂

Love it! I’ll never forget my first encounter with the Divine Miss H. I was responding to an email from Kristen Darkenwald about a chance to work and learn from her mentor, Diane Hochman. I sent you an email, and you responded with something like, “No. You’re not ready.” Boy, did that motivate me! Diane, you had me at No! LOL.
