I wrote this several months back as a response to to some marketing that I saw that in my opinion was irresponsible and reckless.
Sure..it attracted people by triggering their greed..
But when you build your business like that…in the long run
What is the COST?
This represents who I am and what I believe in.
If you believe in this too leave me a comment and let me know.
I am ALWAYS looking for kindred spirits 🙂

Some people choose not to have fancy houses and cars and instead invest into things that will INSURE their legacy…their children, their grand children their great grandchildren and beyond.
I am one of those people.
And I believe that there are a TON of people like me in this industry who just want a good, honest way to make some extra money as opposed to a flashy, extravagant lifestyle with yachts and cars and mansions.
All I wanted was a better life for my girls and I have done that.
NOW I can move on to all the toys if I want to…but I doubt I ever will.
I am a simple person with old school family values.
May be time to read Rich Dad Poor Dad again if you are not getting the difference.
Youth is a magnificent thing…and many get involved in this space when they are young and carefree and it all seems so sparkly.
Get back to me in ten to 15 years and show me that you are still standing…
That you survived.
Show me your kids you put through college and the money you gave to charity and the people you impacted.
And THEN we can all pass judgement about who is who.
Look around.
How many ten, fifteen and twenty year vets do you see?
Not so many…
There is a reason for that…
And the quickest way to be one of the vast roadkill is
to let your ego get ahead of you.
Up the flag pole and down the flag pole they go
year in and year out…
Its like clockwork.
Predictable.
But not me…
I was the stupid old lady who got involved
when she already had 2 kids and a mortgage.
When she had bills to pay and a table to fill with food.
Slow and steady and kinda boring.
Never the biggest income earner and certainly
not one to flaunt.
Yet entirely debt free and I buy my cars CASH and send my kids
to college CASH and I am PREPARED for my retirement.
Kinda rare …wouldn’t you say?
Darn it..I should have gotten that Mercedes and the new fancy facade
for my house with the circular driveway and the fountain on the front lawn.
But I didn’t…
I chose FREEDOM instead.
Silly me.
