I was checking my inbox and found this question from one of the cool chicks I know
who has been working on rediscovering herself and revamping her marketing.
She asked….
Do I NEED an mlm or network marketing company to really make money online?
Here is my answer for her and for all of you that have the same question:
Have a question???
Send it over to Diane@DianeHochman.com and I’ll do my best to answer.

Hey Diane, Thanks! I have sort of being wondering this. Now, I know the answer for sure. 🙂

Ha! Just when I think I’m the only one wondering about this …
Isn’t it funny how we don’t ask a question because we think it’s stupid or worse, that WE’ll look stupid asking it?
Thank you for this nugget of wisdom, Diane. I listened to it three times through and the part that jumped out was when you said that your business took off when you found what YOU LOVED and started sharing it with people who were already searching for that.
So, if what I love is covered/provided for by an mlm, then I’ll go with it, but it’s nice to know it’s not such an absolute necessity to online success. It means that I can take my time and find the Perfect fit.
Bliss-ings and thanks,
g aka Jacqui

Absolutely. Totally. Serving a community is so important. At a certain point, for me, the atmosphere changed (on Twitter in particular in my case) and I found it uncomfortable, because it felt like there was an expectation that wasn’t expected of others of my peers. One day, it just clicked that I had a community now, and that privilege meant that I had new responsibilities. When I acknowledged that, and started to serve, things got exponentially more successful. I like the expression, “dig the well before you’re thirsty”. The community has to come first. It’s tearing the publishing industry apart at the moment, but I think the future is all about building communities, then serving them.
Great podcast – as ever – Diane. Thank you for all you share. It is much appreciated.
