Fabulous job articulating how our Why evolved. Cause for me too, my Why started out being to stay at home with my girl, and now that she’s grown I am proud to be an example for not just her but increasingly her friends too, about how to be successful without succumbing to someone else’s agenda.

I love your presence on the camera! This information is right on! My daughter slides notes to me under the door when I’m on a call. It’s one of the ways she learned to write! Now my daughter likes to listen in on some of my conference calls and helps with the business. When she gets older I hope to take her to some live events. I think it’s so important to show our daughters how very powerful and successful women can be, outside of the predominant corporate structure!

Diane, I have days when I’m too tired, have too little time, too little resources, too little ideas, not enough….
And then I remember the alternative. I can’t tell you how many times I had a conversation with my kids and my husband too, would you rather me go get a job?
It’s taking me a little longer, and I know I would have been more productive and farther along, because I love what I do, and I could do it all the time.
But, I have also learned that too much of anything is not good either. I’ve learned that balance is very important. And that I learned because of my kids.
It’s a blessing. And I figured even if it takes me 5 years to get to where I want to be it’s worth the time and effort and energy. Thank you for reminding us of that!

Wow, Diane, you hit a HOMERUN with this one. It’s amazing the excuses that we can come up with as to why we can’t have a successful business & raise kids. Your tips are right on point & something that I will implement right now. Your comment about leaving a legacy was profound and gave me a chill. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and challenging me to look for “work arounds” so I can take care of my family & run a successful business without either one suffering from neglect.
Great video Diane I hear that I don’t have time so much it is crazy. You have to make time even if it is bits and pieces at a time. It all adds up. Just do it!
