I just got of the phone with the third person in 24 hours who told me how
OVERWHELMED they are from trying to learn everything all at once.
They each were taking multiple courses at a time but had not mastered the
very basic skills of networking or set up their systems.
so over a very short period of time they had run themselves into
exhaustion and despair!
DON’T DO THAT!!!!
Not only are you abusing yourself but you are setting yourself
up for failure right out of the gate.
Here’s how you want to roll:
(Of course follow the directions of your upline but you will find
its pretty much the same no matter where you go)
First….set up your systems and order any inventory you might need
(depending on what you are marketing)
Second….Contact your HOT market(friends and family) and let them know what
you are up to and see who can help you out by trying the products and/or referring people to you.
(If you are working internet based…get them on an email newsletter just for friends and family)
Third…set up a list(can be autoresponder based if you like)
for WARM MARKET (people you meet on the net and in the marketplace)
Add new contacts to this list daily and send out emails to this list sharing
tips and stories about your marketplace (marketing. health and wellness, fitness etc)
Doing these things FIRST will give you a FIRM foundation in how to talk to people and handle objections etc.
Once you have these skills THEN select a cold market strategy if you care to.
Video marketing, Facebook, Solo Ads, PPC, PPV
Learn the basics and get some videos or ads cooking.
Once you have done a few…
INVEST in an advanced course on the skill.
Study it like your life depends on it WITHOUT distraction.
Execute what the course teaches…
And VOILA..
You become a PROFITABLE MASTER.
And you can do it in a VERY SHORT time frame.
OR…You can not set up your systems for months…
Not contact hot market because you are embarrassed.
Not network and build a base of contacts in your space.
Buy 27 courses that you barely crack.
Confuse the crap out of yourself.
Quit
And realize that you have single handedly run yourself broke.
YOU DECIDE
But my advice to you would be…
Don’t do that!
Just a public service announcement from your friendly
neighborhood marketer who has been here cranking since 1999!
Don't Do That!

Diane,
I think this is a trap that I (and likely many others) get wrapped up in. It is so easy to get “lost” in the hot mess of it all… being a jack of all trades and a master of NONE. this is excellent advice. Following it now!
