Seems like yesterday they were 3 and 6 and I was trying to figure this whole game out.
Today they are 14 and 17.
The big one is graduating high school this year
And life as we have known it for years is about to CHANGE
If you have been contemplating starting a home business to be with your kids
The best advice I can give you is DO IT…
Time is fleeting
And before you know it the time you think you have will be gone…
FOREVER.
And this time is precious.
Only a parent who had seen their baby grow and fly can understand.
You BLINK and they are gone.
And if I can help one more parent gain an extra second of their time with their babies I will have done a goof job.
So here’s a clip from No Excuses II where I explain about how I felt about being home to raise my kids and share a cute story about them.
(At least I think it’s cute 🙂
God bless all the parents out there that CHOOSE to make their children the PRIORITY.
Being a work from home parent isn’t always easy…
In fact..it’s HARD.
But I can tell you from experience…
It’s worth it!

Bravo! Well done, madam! It can be done. It isn’t always easy, but like you said – better have it be hard WITH them than without!
Toasting you!
EXPECT Success!

You know Diane, you are right. It is not easy & in fact pretty darn hard. My children are 17 and 13 & activite in alot of things as yours are I am sure.
You want to support them as much as possible but then you feel like you are letting your business go by the wayside. For me it is like I am being pulled in 3 or 4 directions. However, I know I must do it so that I can provide a better life for them.
Then I want to show them another way that they can provide for themselves & their families when they are ready to start one. Children these days need to have options so they can be as successful as they are ment to be.
Mine are invloved in my what I am doing also as they are my top students. By teaching them what I learn from you & the Million Mind March, I know I am giving them a leg up on life.
One of the reasons I work at building a business like I do is because I do not want them to have any college debt when they graduate. That is a burden that puts our kids in a hole before they even start life.
So, Diane you keep on being the inspiritation for us still on the battlefield.

Thank you. That was so awesome. I will be doing the same thing. I want my children to know that they can do this some day. It is so important for them to hear these things that we are learning. It gets them where we are and as you pointed out, it keeps us on track when we want to have a pity moment. =D

Oh wow you made me cry. That’s exactly what I get from my kids, now 12 and 14 who have grown up listening to Jim Rohn and so many other rockstars. Sometimes you think ‘what have I created?!!!!’ But at the end of the day I’m so proud of my kids and how clued up they are. Above all they know about taking responsibility and are not afraid to dream big dreams. Thanks Diane that’s awesome. Congrats to your wonderful daughter (and her parents on graduation 🙂
